The UUCOB Congregation

The UUCOB Congregation, a charitable organization duly incorporated and registered in the state of Florida, is governed in accordance to the general standards set by the UUA.  A Board of Trustees (BOT), elected once a year, is responsible for all facets of UUCOB governance, including Service and Event programming, facilities management, financial management, membership management, etc.  Any member in good standing may run for a seat on the BOT, which meets once a month to discuss and resolve the day-to-day business of the Congregation.

The BOT strive for maximum inclusivity and transparency, both to the membership and to the community at large.  Meeting minutes are kept and published for the members.  We welcome visitors; all of our services and events are generally open to walk-ins of any persuasion.  Our operation and activities are published on our website, UUOrmond.info.  Our website also includes a forward-looking Calendar of Events, which is accessible to all.  Perusing this calendar gives an excellent indication of the activities we engage in. We abide by a Code of Conduct which reflects our values of inclusivity, respect and tolerance.

The BOT is aided it its endeavors by a number of Committees which organize and manage our spiritual, cultural, social and charitable events.  Committee Chairs report regularly to the BOT, and their reports are published on our website.

Our contact information is published on this site’s Homepage.  We welcome your communication.
